Terrible bloatware. Only shows what apple is capable of. If you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO use quicktime, use quick time alternative.

Horrible. Steals Windows file associations. Apple knows this yet they do not correct it.
Get Quicktime Alternative instead if you run Windows.

Bloated, slow, buggy and now with a 0-day exploit as a bonus!
I wish Apple would just refactor it completely from the ground up.
What it does well is play qt movies, although even that does require too much horsepower (i.e. code unoptimized).
