Latest Changes:

• Can now be launched with command line arguments
• dchub:// is now a registered URL handler
• A bug having to do with using the auto connect feature to connect to localhost has been resolved
• The text 'Request Connect' has been changed to 'Browse User's Files'
• Right clicking on the public hublist now offers an additional option: 'Refresh'
• Holding the mouse cursor over a queue item will now bring up a tool tip describing the status of that item
• The bug that kept the user list from populating in large hubs has been fixed
• Will automatically enter your operator password when reconnecting to the same hub
• The settings window now disappears after pressing the Ok button
• Now allows users to force it to specify a specific IP address rather than the machines actual address
• Hyperlinks now work from the notepad applet
• Fixed a bug that occurred after deleting all items from a users queue and then right clicking in the empty pane
• The status bar in the file view window is now updated when the keyboard is used to navigate the file structure
• Users in passive mode no longer provide search results to passive users
• Now respects multi user environments

Pretty cool, but difficult to maintain. For small group sharing, I recently started testing imeem. It really shows promise in it's simple apporach to solving the private peer-to-peer problem. And, it's got heavy encryption to protect everything on or about the network.

Good job. But I think SuperPIM is better if you only want to send text from one PC to another.

NMDC is GOOD as it was the original, nmdc isn't good as it was a weak update to the older 1.09 version. In the end neither compare to DC++ and its clones. I run a Direct Connect for only OPs, u must be an op in another hub inorder to be a member of oph.no-ip.com, if u are interested in being a member email me @ ganja_5000@hotmail.com. 8)

well, being a user of this program for quite some time now it is probably the best out on the net, and heres why when it comes to the neo modus program, it is like irc, except its noobie friendly. it may be a shock to kazaa type users, but in the end its very easy to learn compared to other direct connect clients out there most common problem: "i cant find anything" this happens because either they are looking for something really old or looking in the wrong hub ie. search "anime" in an mp3 hub as for other types of direct connnect software such as dc++: dc++ is good for the user, but is really abusive and detrimental to the entire direct connect community.When you are trying to download a file from a 1.5 mbps dsl connection along with 8 other ppl, your download speed will be slow. also, i have used this program for over a year and i have found it to have a infinitessimal advantage over the neomodus version that i have decided to switch back. the bottom line: Quality connections over quantity another point i would like to make is the connection ratings of users on the neo modus version, it actually shows users that have exceeded 100KB/s in upload speeds to a single user
