AVIPreview allows viewing of video files as you are downloading them to make sure they are of good quality and not "FAKE FILES."

It's good at what does make no mistake. Whether VLC is better I can't say. But this definitley needs an update.

Any1 know why this is here, thought .26a had been out for a long time and if this is different what changes. Otherwise I agree vlc is far better to use now.

VLC player is the best for this. It can play incomplete, damaged and badly encoded files. check out videolan.org

A bit buggy indeed. Media Player Classic can pretty much do the same thing now with incomplete files, with more features.
