Adblock Plus, as great as it is, has two downsides. Firstly, when friends are talking about some annoying ad on such and such a site you don't know what they're talking about and you feel a little left out. Secondly, when you're visiting friends or relatives and you go to check your web mail you get a short trip through hell. No, the goggles do not help.

All my machines have firefox and Adblock installed first thing. i hope future version of firefox has this built in or packaged in the default install.
