This is dead... I do not install it at all ....Plus I remove it from Chrome ... no problems at all.

Needed still today. I prefer the monthly build of version 18.x, which is basically just ongoing security updates. Version 18 monthly build can be had at Adobe's Flash archive page.

Note: The download will be large, being it contains also for MAC, optional msi installers and debug files. I just extract the win.exe, winax.exe and uninstaller(to uninstall older version first) files.

When I got TOTALLY fed up of All those Wretched Updates,
Sometimes Twice a Week ffs..!!
i Disabled Notifications, I just update "As & When" now.
I use it. But Only 2* for being Pushy.

POS I refuse to install this garbage on my system. All it wants to do is save files to your HD when looking at Flash web sites. The "Allow or Deny" window popup crap, Click on deny and you go nowhere..

I find it odd that BetaNews has a link to a build of Flash that isn't even on the Adobe web site yet or FileHippo.
And the link for the Windows version takes you to build .152.

If your Sys is 32bit. You can't Install (64bit "only") App's M8.
(If that's your problem)..??
Check for 32/64 ... XP/Vista/7
