Advanced HTML Optimizer is intended for HTML documents optimization, which results in shorter download and upload time. Pages will appear in client's Internet browser in exactly the same way, but they will be about 20% smaller. Its main function is to save space on your web pages by removing unnecessary characters and tags. Though the saving percentage may seem small, load time savings is much higher as your client's Internet browser parses the pages more efficiently. Embedded script code is not ruined. It'll help you make site traffic more effective and cheaper and lower disk space usage. It also makes HTML code unreadable to prevent other users from stealing your HTML techniques.

Advanced HTML Optimizer also makes HTML code unreadable to prevent other users from stealing your HTML techniques. Why is this a good thing? Virtually every HTML author who has ever lived learned bits of his or her craft by studying the code of those who had created before. Further, how insecure and anal would someone have to be to object to someone borrowing what they probably borrowed themselves? HTML coding isn't hard - any pimpled teen with notepad can manage it - but doing it with style and flair is difficult. Now, I would object to someone borrowing too exactly my look-and-feel, but borrow my techniques, please.

My previous rating was in error - I meant to give it 1 (bad). The review, however (duplicated belows) was accurate.

latest review from nt5 (2000) install:
no uninstall for add remove, .. nose in the book penalty
upon shuting down the program, it still leaves a resident process,... consuming 4,720k .. nose in the book again.
this is Not, a good thing .. other then that it shows more progress.

    Yeah, i agree.
The only problem I encountered was an html-page with embedded things (Flash).
    Batch is really necessary!!!
Also an gif/jpg optimizer would be very helpful.
