Advanced Launcher is an integrated toolbar and tray launcher. It can show several fully customizable toolbars at a time. When you click a toolbar button it can either run an application (open a document) or show multi-level customizable menu. Menus can also show contents of folders (e.g. Programs folder from the Start menu or Desktop folder). You can dock toolbars to the screen edges, can minimize toolbars to the tray and access their contents by clicking on the tray icon (menu with the contents of the toolbar will be shown). Advanced Launcher is a handy alternative or supplement to the Start menu.

This is a very nice little program to quickly build a favorites menu. If you really want to build a custom menu though, "True Launch Bar" is the ultimate.

Yep bob your missing alot. This program is a nice awesome program. Not only does it move the start menu, but it also lets you setup a custom button bar. As well as several windows functions.

Best function for this program, is that it lets you add your favorite programs, and group them as well.

Am I missing something? Isn't this just moving the start menu from the left to the right? Maybe it's worthwhile just for that. I always thought the start button was on the wrong side...except for lefties. I agree that Alex Kaufman's Tray Launcher is pretty close to Advanced Launcher , and free. FWIW, the best button launcher I ever used is Blanch. Totally versatile, totally drag-and-drop. Nothing else is even close.
