Advanced MP3 Catalog is an easy-to-use tool with Explorer-like interface which allows you catalog all kind of MP3 media - the floppy disks, hard drives (including network ones), optical disks, CD-ROMs, ZIP and JAZ disks and other media with MP3 files. The catalog file generated by Advanced MP3 Catalog is very compact.
The Pro version allows Printing Reports and CD-Covers, Exporting Reports to RTF file, Importing catalog & categories from file, Customizable export to HTML / Table / Text, MP3 Organizer, Single / mass ID3v1 & ID3v1 editing, Batch mp3 renaming, and more.
- Remove numbers function
- New report engine (core version 4)
- Minor improvements

Poor (OK, NON-EXISTENT) customer service, cannot handle large libraries. No service after the sale. Ever.
I paid for the full version of this product, and have written to this company 3 times asking for support on their product which no longer works. Once they have your money, you're on your own with a very inferior product! While the interface with MP3 Boss is not as pretty or as intuitive, when I wrote with a question, I got answers immediately. So far, MP3 Boss has handled my huge library without issue, where AMC Pro just chokes and stops working. There's not even a way to reset it to scan a small portion of your library-once it errors, it never works again. A complete waste of money. I will never buy another Wizetech product, and would strongly advise anyone not to waste their money.

good Product - Horrific Support
I have used and cataloged my MP3 Collection for while with this product, with much success....Until Recently, my hard drive went dead, so I needed to change it. Wizetech has ignored my request for a new license code for months. With so many Products available, stay away from this one, they do not stand behind their product. Avoid these guys and look elsewhere, someone that will stand behind their product.

For big MP3 collections (+10.000) nothing compares to AMC; it's lightning fast, reliable and very easy to use. I have tried most of the MP3 managers but none of them beats AMC.

I wanted a program to scan some mp3 and output it to a html page. All AMC managed to export in html was the titles of the albums. Checked everything, there is no more.. what is the use for this program?
Reviewing 3.09 Beta 1 (Jan 15, 2004)
well i don't think mp3stocker ist better. Before using mp3stocker you need to do some very nasty configuring, like adding different name-artist - styles.
But i want a program that just makes a huge, explorer like list with some extra mp3 infos.
That's what mp3 Cat.Pro makes. Fast, easy and quite nice configurable.
So for me it deserves a 5 in functionality & ease of use and design. Another nice feature of this program is that one can open files another user has made, without needing to have the mp3s on his system too.
Just make a catalog file, sent it to a friend with the link to the program, he can open also the file i made without having to buy the program.
And shareware is IMHO not that bad, even for "easy small programs". Any1 who has ever programmed a tool that started to get popular and with that a growth in userbased feature wishlists knows how hard it is to fulfill the wishes without sitting 24/7 in front of his computer.

A very good program, especially for large mp3 collections. I like it very much!
Reviewing 2.00 Beta 1 (Mar 4, 2002)
This is a good Program. Helped me keep all my music easy to find on my HD and CD's. Easy to use and not too large.
