AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software. It is capable of removing unwanted movie features, including subtitles and prohibition messages such as copyright and FBI warnings. It also allows you to launch an external application whenever you insert or remove a disc, or prevent 'PC-friendly' software from automatically launching when you insert a video DVD.

Decryption is not all that AnyDVD offers. You can control the drive speed of your DVD drive, allowing you to reduce the noise level when watching movies on your PC. You can even adjust the display frequency of your monitor for both NTSC and PAL displays. It also decrypts protected audio CDs to allow you to copy them.

I never waste time backing movies up to DVD rather I use CloneDVD Mobile to convert them to DIVX and use my Sony PlayStation 3 that is attached to my TV for viewing. Average file size is around 1.5 GB per movie. I also backup to several mobile devices including my daughters Innotab which presently contains about 25 movies on one 16GB card.

@Duster: You seem to like to hear yourself talk, I for one do not need your brainless tips. I too have a full license & have had for some time. Just review the bloody programs.

I'm pretty sure if Apple Computers had developed a language they would certainly have patented it.. :-)

I agree AnyDVD is a great program, no argument there.

And one more thing English should always start with a capital E, not lower case as in your last post. You got me LMAO now.. Sorry...

@Input overload yes i like to hear myself, i like to see myself, and i like everything life has to offfer. I am a very very lucky guy. I am one of those lucky guys that can do everything that I want.

It seems that you took offense (personally) by my remarks....I did review the program and I do l,ike the program and I use the program on an almost daily base. And I guess like you said:" I am getting....."
Perhaps also, you need to get an eye check (exam) or English understanding maybe? If you tell me what you got offense of, I will be more than glad to apologize to you.

How do you know if it is a brainless tip....if you have not tried it?

EDIT: To your comment, not that im trying to start a war, but english is not copyrighted/reserved/trademarked by ANYONE/ANYTHING which means that I can use english in any way that I want without your consent of telling me how/when to use the english language. Now, to get back to my point, i accidentally deleted my old post, however i still stand by my opinion. AnyDVD HD is an amazing program and i use it as a TOOL not a gizmo on a DAILY BASIS and i also bought CloneCD, CloneDVD 2, and CloneDVD mobile with a LIFTTIME lincense. Now, i would like to see a function where you can right-click to send it to the other programs they have and another function to send things to USB, etc and YES I DID spend a little over $100(YES THATS USD: UNITED STATES DOLLAR, OO-RAH!).

Still very good but to be honest I can't remember the last time I used it.

With no small children anymore DVDs last just fine & with falling costs in real terms it's hardly worth the time & effort.

BluRay discs seems to be of better plastic than DVDs & seem to last well.

    Maybe I'm getting old? :-)

I have better things to do with my time than copy DVDs/BR's print labels out for the boxes etc. Quite a few (backup's) I made a few years ago don't play well due to dye issues.

What problem are you having? I have a system with both a BLuRay burner and a Samsung Lightscribe enabled drive and have ran into no problems thus far. I did notice there is a new LS software, ver 1.18 out that I've downloaded but haven't tried yet but so far I haven't ran into any problems with 1.17.9
