Arrange Startup classifies all of your programs that are executed at startup as system programs, suspicious applications that can be viruses, and the programs that are not necessary for startup. It happens very often that the applications that can be executed when needed, form part of the startup list wasting hardware resources after each startup. It will help you to remove programs from startup list or to add them there.

If you want a REAL startup manager, get Startup Delayer (free), available right here at fileforum. Been using it for several years and it is the best. You may choose which items you want to start and not start when you boot your system and you may assign delays to each startup item, thereby forcing each one to start when YOU want it to. This allows you to arrange the tray icons in the order YOU choose. Give it a try.

FAIL.
I installed it today and it had the win95:sk worm embedded in the kernal40.dll file.

Oddly enough, it wiped every single credit card that I had in my wallet.
Other than that, this program wasn't too bad. It shuffled my Programs list, but it did clean up the system messages that I kept getting from the Postal Inspectors concerning some mis-placed packages.
Then I tried to use it, and found that I couldn't open Firefox without re-installing my SSL certificates. I don't mind that part too much.
I was a little irritated at the fact that this program had opened port 1080 and installed 37 separate dialers from Brazil, Thailand and Peru.
It's a good thing I don't have dial-up. No harm, no foul, right? I can let it slide.
If it does it again though, I may have to chew on ground glass for a few days and wash it down with a jug of yak piss, because I can't declare bankruptcy twice after this program let hackers steal my identity.
I thought the internet was a series of tubes...

yeah this program deleted my mp3 collection. installation went smoothly
but apon restarting i realized what happened.
i didnt' get any icons on my desktop, however i get a webpage popup ad every 10 minutes or so telling me i have a virus. so this program is 100% adware.
graphically it isn't all that great, MSCONFIG does the exact same thing, and even more actually. yes that program comes standard with windows.
if i were me, after installing it i would proceed to cutting my wrists and praying to the spyware god to remove this from the web.
Reviewing 2.1 (Sep 26, 2006)
There is something rotten about this prog. It should warn you for programs that are typicaly spyware or viruses. At least, that is what the window says.
But, it gives a warning for: RocketDock, CoolSwitch, MultiDesk and...... OpenOffice quickstart! And even worse: it does put an unwanted quicklink to their own website on you desktop. So, this is not freeware, this is adware. I rate it 1.
