Nowadays, this is the really best burner.
I have just one wish - it would very nice to add an option to associate the disk image files.
Also, I can't understand why it lacks the "FULL ERASE" feature. It is presented in functions, you should just uncheck the "Quick Erase", but in reality it doesn't works (how it's possible to full erase the DVD in less than a minute?).

@pjb. I tried and like gburner. Very good feature set in exchange for the reduced file size. I keep burning studio at the top of the list only because it automatically retrieves music track information from the net when ripping and because it has a builti in labeling program. This, obviously adds to the program size. Butg I wouldn't call it bloat.

I agree partially with you pjb, the app is growing in size although I still don't feel it's becoming bloatware yet. Like you I've used it for a couple of years and found it does a great job, not produced a coaster yet.
I still reckon it rates 5 stars not the 3 you gave it.
Like pjb says wait until after the trial period ends before purchasing as the price drops very rapidly :)

After using Ashampoo for a few years (I used to replace Nero), I found that it has become rather bloated. All though it does a good job I have found gburner a lot lighter and does what I need it to do.
One thing I do dislike about Ashampoo is they don't have continuity in pricing. You can download the version, and then receive a few emails all with different discounts. Generally the best way to get max discount is await until the trial has finished.

Edit: Agree with any above, perhaps I was a little harsh with 3 stars, upon reflection I feel I can personally justify giving it 4 as it is still a good app. :-)

This software is the best, you cannot beat it and I have purchased it and love it. This is 100% better than Nero could ever be. I think all Ashampoo products are great....
