This is it! No more Nero for me...haven't used Nero in ages. I would get loads of coasters, but with Ashampoo Burning Studio, I hardly get any, even if I use generic media and doing loads of stuff on my pc while its burning.

I prove many burner software and this its the more stable and free of bugs at all. With this I don't need another burner like the Nero's crap. Wow version 6 now free :)

Good replace for the bloated Nero. This always burn well my discs. And now version 6.6 its FREE.

I have used nero for many many many years. Unfortunately, I have been falling out of love with it. Nero 8 was the bloated straw that broke the camels back. I was getting runtime errors, it was slow to load on my fairly modern system. Also, the new nero phones home to check serial numbers which I dont care for. I had heard good things about ashampoo here so i decided to try it. Wow. Just wow. The UI is nicer than Nero. It wasnt designed to be run in full screen like cruddy Nero. It can do everything nero can, only its cheaper, smaller, faster and prettier.

Tried to backup an unprotected dvd-r and it only produced coasters with 2 diferent PCs. Alcohol 120, ImgBurn, Nero and Blindwrite made perfect copies from the same dvd-r.
