Seriously - no, SERIOUSLY - overpriced for what it does - most of which can be done through the file 'properties' page anyway. As mentioned, there are free alternatives that do the same. Most serious is the lack of NTFS permissions functionality, which is a must really.

besides the programmers who created it, has any one else gave this a good rating?

It works; but for me is the surface too unclear.
I use 'Attribute Changer 5.2', it is FREEWARE and many more clearly (program GUI).

What type of new features? That doesnt really help us as far as determining an upgrade path.

Just one thing would put this program over the top, NTFS Security Permissions Support. I think that overall this program is great for win9x style permissions, but the world is becoming more and more a NTFS style permission based system, even XP Home uses it. Add support for security permissions, and I will rate this a 5 and consider it a worthwhile purchase. Just my two cents
