Very useful program, but when it's running it interferes with "Ctrl-F" function in other applications.

Great, thanx for this new version g0dlike.
Please consider to fix/change the following 2 little things for next version:
1. Press F5 in the main pane (where the tracks are listed) doesn't refresh but makes the list disappear.
2. Would be nice that the directory tree wouldn't show hidden directories or at least that this could be optional.

Thanx again and best regards.

Hi!
I'm the developer behind Audio Identifier.
Today, a new version was launched (0.7.1).
It corrects the display bugs you (TBG72) mentioned + several others.

The LGPL issues is that MrQuestionMan's developper violated it's own license, making the sources no longer available.
As you see, AI credits properly MrQuestionMan (About, readme etc.).
I'm willing to make the sources available when Gambit (the developer of MrQuestionMan) choose to make available MrQuestionMan's sources again.

It's a mix of mr questionman & lame tag with some great additions like recursive scan and filtering. It have some bugs:

- Display wrong average bitrate in mp3s albums with large id3v2 tags.
- Some render problem with the interface in file=>settings=>BBQE when you move the slider (http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/3554/aigv7.jpg)
- The button to hide the side explorer tree doesn't work correctly (it hide partially the tree, when hide should go to FolderTreeWidth=0 instead 30)

Looks promising but there is no doubt that the core of AI was taken from GPL programs and that Audio Identifier should be under that license and the code still available. Today it's free tomorrow you don't know. -2 point for that.
Fix the bugs and make it open source and just then will deserve a 5.
