An Excellent app. which is right up there (if not better than) with all the paid apps.

Handbrake is promising, but still not there! Only burnt-in subs is one example. AutoGK is the way to go for hassle free encoding!

great program...but i prefer handbrake, which does the same thing but can output to more formats and produce higher quality video (ex: deblocking an xvid encoding to remove those annoying artifacts!).

this is a great program, the fact that it is free pretty much makes this a all winner, i would strongly suggest that everyone used Xvid, DivX can only compete with Xvid at a massive cost to time, a lot of time, if any user is looking for the very maximum quality from ASP codec then unfortunately AutoGK won't do this, Fairuse Wizard 2.6 does (Quality slider) and a few others also, but not many programs support this feature as it adds a lot of time (Encoder is allowed to spend more time on each frame) to the process, but for most situations AutoGK is a good program with near enough 90% max quality achievable and the easiest Automatic method out there, as fairuse wizard although automatic, does require many more mouse clicks getting through the steps, AutoGK is hat off, but i should stress there is not much support now with ASP codecs programs, as more and more developers are either giving up, or moving onto AVC codecs, and AutoGK is no Exception. AutoGK is hat off, and although old school, it still remains the best for anyone who wants the best choices made for them. NOTE*** many people have had problems with Audio Sync, i can say this has nothing to do with AutoGK any more, usually ripping problems, or Codec problems with Windows.
