   One of the best i have used. Leaves Michelangelo far beyond. One thing i like especially is the Photoshop plugin.

   This is by far the best icon editor/creator. Its easy to use and is powerful.

   All these years, I've seen many icon editors, even know people who wrote their own editor when they learned programming. Maybe that is the reason, most icon editors are so amateurish, limited and buggy.
   
   IconWorkshop is one of the very few exceptions to that rule. It is a feature rich, stable and fast paint application, suitable not only to "icon-freaks" but also to logo and user interface designers and developers.
   
   I can easily rate it with five.

   They forgot to mention,that IconWorkshop can convert Mac Icons to Windows format. This is the number one feature that distinguishes it from other icon editors and the reason after trying it I purchased it. Don't know why they didn't put it in description?

   This is a very good program, I'm using it everyday and I'm happy with it. bad thing is that it's a shareware but worth it :) Still needs some sorting algorithms not just "Sort by name", everything else is great.
