Great program for Linux or Windows. My last review of this program for Linux was rather lackluster shall we say and purely a result of my own lack of experience (at the time) under Linux. Having said that, I would like to apologize to the people on this site and the developers of this fine program (yes i realize the developers probably don't frequent this site. Just a formality)

For Ubuntu users: The ubuntu repositories contain the old version of azureus which I found to be very buggy(random crashes, low download speed). Got the updated deb from http://www.getdeb.net/app.php?name=Azureus Works flawlessly.

As much as I detest Java and this programme's ridiculous resource needs, Azureus is pretty incredible as far as its functionality is concerned.

If your Linux Distro doesn't come with Java pre-installed and you have to install java in a folder other than /usr/java/ it's just a plain pain in the backside. You'll be lucky if you even get it to work.
