BPS Data Shredder provides an easy, permanent way to securely delete files, folders and disk free space. It is an easy to use 'drag and drop' application. The 'confirm before shredding' feature allows you to require confirmation before shredding to give you the opportunity to cancel before you've shredded an item. This is important since the item is not recoverable once it has been shredded.

    Not sure what's up with this program but every time I start it, it closes the system tray and taskbar and then some programs don't show correctly in the tray when it returns. I have no idea what it's doing but it's pretty annoying. Anyone have ideas as to why it does this?

    The most important function is that it shreds sensitive files so they cannot be recovered or undeleted.
