Babya Photo Workshop Professional is a free and professional image editor. It has a range of image effects filters and can be used with TWAIN scanners. You could scan in a image and edit it. You can add borders and frames to image, save custom colors in 'Babya Color Collection' *.bbc format and more. Also includes Babya Photo Workshop Standard - a basic bitmap editor.

    Absolute junk. NEVER download anything from Babya. If you want to see why, head over to GOOGLE/Groups [Usenet groups] and search "Babya." You'll see why.

    This shows some promise, but as a version 4.0 release with a 'professional' tag, it doesn't live up to the name. Compared to something like 'The GIMP' (which admittedly has many more developers behind it), this doesn't have much to offer. Both are free, but 'The GIMP' is truly a professional package.
