THEN... Double click ...... C_Faster_Setup_GL.exe

The 3 Files above are "Generated & Activated" & it sent NOD32 scatty Altho nothing malicious was found. Went thru ALL the settings & left them @Default.
A message "One click BLAH BLAH Speed up by 14%". Took a snap with "Regshot"

then Clicked the Almighty Button. Took snap #2 & Compared..??
NOW.. I'm gonna stop there Guys. This Numpty App undid changes I had made in the Registry Yonks ago. "Some" Keys that the Techys will recognise.

And other keys in (priority control) (session manager) (CurrentControlSet) etc
WHY..?? Coz this App will have a set of default key settings within it's files.
I didn't bother searching them out. BUT, I did go into the .ini files of this App. What I saw, errrrr .......enabled=1 .. enabled=1 .. enabled=1 .. etc ......In all the "Wrong" places for the User. In the "Right" places for Baidu... Nuff Said..!!
Yet ANOTHER app aimed at digging out Info & reporting back to HQ. Noobs & the Unwary are the targets of Crap like this. Don't Install this Freakshow & leave it monitoring your Sys..."BOOOOOO.!!Ware"... "GetItOff-ff.betanewsWare"... 0*

My mom had this installed in her notebook because it came as an offer in adware installer, it seems it was actually bringing the notebook down and making the cooler spin very loud. Very similar to Kingsoft program which might also be worthless. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS, KEEP AWAY FROM BAIDU.

It's about the best in class, but I have little use for this type of software. It runs light, and if you use only the safer utilities, it is pretty useful. The GUI is very nice, reminding me of a fruit salad. I don't use it, but it's an interesting program and definitely worth trying I'll give it 3.5 stars.

I would write a more detailed review. But to be honest having tried it on 3 PCs and it slowed all of them up I cannot be arsed to waste my time, other than to warn others from trying it.

If you live in China, you won't be strange to these so-called PC performance boosters like Baidu PC Faster below:
360 safeguard, QQ manager and Kingsoft safeguard...
They all claim that they can do any good to your PC, calculate the boot time, forecast the weather, clean up the crap, update the hotfixes and more.
Everything seems neat and nice, but what pisses me off is that they aggressively occupy the common startup and services startup items on your system, popup ads or ad-like popups like hell, showing off how"wonderfully" they can "cherish" your PC.
IMHO, Baidu PC Faster is the same as the PC-care programs I've mentioned above, and it will popup all day long as well. It's not hard to tell if it will boost your PC or slow it down.
However, the Baidu PC Faster is released by Baidu Hongkong corporation and provides only English user interface, most likely is because the competition of pc-care in China is too tough, I mean, too fierce with no space for Baidu to participate.
What I wrote is to remind the users living outside China to be aware of these "PC Faster" programs.

Agree with some guy - Much like other multi-clean & optimize programs - The programs decision as to what is safe to disable is dubious & the cleaner doesn't do anything that CCleaner with winapp don't - You are better off using something like Autoruns IMO - The install size is maybe 70 MEG + - The program didn't seem to break anything & I've seen far worse & it's free ~

just like the commercial, sorry but their is no and never will be a all in wonder speed up my pc program, usually programs like this that CLAIM to speed up your PC usually due more harm then good
