If you are going to use this program, DO NOT POST YOUR DATA TO THE WEB !!! If you do, despite any nonsense warnings about the data not being posted to any web server, your computer will be compromised. Your MS software licenses including your product keys will be on display for all to see if they know how to. BE VERY CAREFUL ! I cannot believe such a compromise exists. Its not a bad application for doing what it does. As to the question of privacy/security, the only problem I see is between the keyboard and users posting up their belarc profiles to the web. Other than that, I haven't seen any evidence of wrongdoing and Belarc seems to be keeping up with their end of the deal.. Database Ben, If you can show us ALL the sniffed data and what actually gets sent to Belarc, perhaps wed be more inclined to believe your conspiracy theroy... I'd like to see this myself.. Untill then, your just shouting fire in a theater and trying to cause panic.. If a user has good internet practices and security, there shouln't be a problem ...Id like to mention that since it checks for MS security fixes, of COURSE its going to be updated every month... Still waiting for your proof Ben..

Does what is supposed to do always has. Good to know what MS patches did not take or are missing as well as what hardware is installed as well as software. Again edit software serial #'s or Keys before you post and do not be idiots like the below link in previous post. Nothing to be careful of other than your self. Though why you would post this I do not know as most people need HiJackThis logs as are looking for a problem. But if you do post think and edit the html in notepad or....

Does what it is intended to do as it has for years. Just remember if posting the info to delete/edit the the software key information section, change file to .txt open with notepad, edit, save, rename back to .htm or .html or use a free html program to edit.
