Blink Comparator allows the viewing of several images. Mainly used to monitor the movement of objects like asteroids or comets. It was through the use of a blink comparator that resulted in the discovery of Pluto. You can choose a fixed reference point like a star and align each image on that point. Then Blink will crop and align each image on the reference point. Each image can be exported to disk and using a third party GIF animator package, you can create an animated GIF of your set of images.
