Bookmark Converter lets you convert or merge bookmarks between Netscape, Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Opera.
- Added support for the latest versions of all supported browsers (Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1, Firefox 1.0.1, Opera 7.54, Mozilla 1.7.5, Netscape 7.2)
- Added support for the description/comment and keyword/shortname fields for bookmarks and folders, in all browsers where it is applicable
- Fixed a bug that under certain conditions could cause a crash when converting from Opera bookmark collections that contained subfolders in the Personal Bar folder
- Fixed a bug that could cause errors when outputting IE favorites from bookmarks having a leading space
- Added handling of a newly found illegal naming condition in Windows file systems, during writing of IE favorites
- Made the importing code for Netscape/Mozilla/Firebird/Phoenix bookmark files more tolerant to some custom modifications of the bookmark file that might be done by other third party products

Nice interface but it is lacking in the one thing that all bookmark converters lack, the ability to convert bookmarks that have names on other languages. I have alot of Japanese bookmarks and the program errors out every time. But other than that this is the best converter ive seen so far.

Yikes, this is the 3.0 release of this hardly-there program? And it costs? URLBase 4.0 and now 5.0 are free and actually have menus with Options. Far superior for no cash.

Hello mrp-
The proggie CAN import/export between other browsers than IE/Netscape.
Try the proggies next time you rate them !!!!!
Such appz here is rarely used, so theres no logic in making it a shareware.
If i switch browser, then i only use this appz 1 time.
If it was freeware i would give it 5 *****, but as shareware (16$) i would only give it 3 ***
But its a good and simple appz and its usefull for those who dont know how to import/export from other browsers (even though all browsers have this option).

What is this? IE has favorites import/export, and netscape has favorites import/export.. What is the point of this? If you want to impress me, write a program that can convert IE cookies to Opera 6 cookies. (Please, someone, anybody??)
