Best FREE cd/dvd burning software out there. Great for backing up data, burning iso or audio cd.

People who are claiming this program is slow. It depends on your computer and what your doing. Playing video games, watching movie and burning a cd/dvd will make any computer or software to run slow.

If you don't like the software, go purchase one. Where else can you find a free burning software with support???

Very good application which deserves support as, for me, it does everything that I would want from a CD/DVD burning application whilst not being bloated.

Nice free burner with a pretty reasonable GUI.

Note that it is only as reliable as the media you use Mr. RoSmecher

STILL - WHY does this program make a folder in your "My Documents" folder called "CDBurnerXP Projects"? This is so annoying! I don't know another CD/DVD burning program that adds a folder to your computer without your permission like this.

Okay, so it's not hard for me to go to the options and change the folder to just be "My Documents" or "Desktop" or something, but the problem is, when I suggest software for other people to use, a lot of people don't know much about computers, so I need to recommend things that are very easy to use.

This program is actually pretty good in a number of ways, but the fact that it makes this folder without your permission is just unnecessary. Why not make the default project folder just be "My Documents"? That would be much better. I'll email the author and see if we can get this changed.

I'm going to give this program a 4 for now, because there is one really great feature - the ability to apply Replay Gain to tracks. This is different than "normalize", it actually changes the volume of songs, so you can make all your music the same volume and not have songs that are too quiet or blasting loud.

Until CDBurnerXP Pro fixes the folder creation problem, I guess I'll still be recommending DeepBurner Free or InfraRecorder to people.
