Yes
Reviewing 4.5.0.3552 Beta (Nov 11, 2012)
The programmer releases a version without the crapware (Opencandy) a few days after the release that contains it. The beta is also available in both versions.
Reviewing 4.4.1.3184 (Jun 12, 2012)
First off; this is a very good CD/DVD/ISO burner.
This software got a bad name because the default download/installer contained crap-ware (and it may still do so). I have not used the default download for several years now. Instead, if you go to the software's home page (http://www.cdburnerxp.se/) and click on the "Downloads" link, then look for the "More download options" link. I download the "portable" version - this does not contain crap-ware.
I would rate this software 5* if I knew for a fact that it had stopped including crap-ware.
Regards,
Peter

Ditto my previous post. And I'd give it a minus 3 rating if I could because the devs clearly don't listen to feedback.
ImgBurn all the way
Reviewing 4.4.1.3099 (May 2, 2012)
Was promising, but the devs went to the dark side and ruined it. You want a good, powerful, free, and totally clean solution... use ImgBurn.
