CPUBalance contains ProBalance, the proven and real-world demonstrable technology to retain system responsiveness during high loads, or even save you from a hard reset during a worst-case scenario.
CPUBalance is unique in that it can either run independent of Process Lasso, or along-side Process Lasso, offering extended functionality over the base ProBalance algorithm. That includes a sliding aggressiveness scale, an easy access system tray icon, and a newer core technology than is available in Process Lasso, since it has a slightly longer development cycle due to its greater number of features.

This is 100% freeware, in contrast to the incorrect settings (my fault).
No nags.
No restrictions.
No timeouts.
That may change to Freemium going forward, but for v1.0 that is how I wanted it. We have now gone official, no RC1.

Does what it says on the tin in Alpha mode. My PC was far more stable and responsive thanks to this tool.

This is an 'off-shoot' of Process Lasso's ProBalance algorithm and I hope it will become very popular. In any event, we thank anyone willing to participate in our testing phase (which will be brief because we've already tested a lot). Thank you for being a Bitsum user!
