Call Soft is an ultimate computer-based companion to your telephone. It serves as a voice answering machine, speaker phone with fax, and enables you to dial phone calls from your PC. It works best if you've subscribed to a CallerID service. By entering friends and family into the program's extensive phone book, it helps you prepare individualized greetings for each. Further, you can attach nicknames to these callers for easier identification, and even have the program sound special rings. Because it utilizes CallerID, it can automatically hang-up on telemarketers and other unwanted callers. Even better, you can prepare special "buzz off" type greetings for them.

Tried several. Most were incompatibile with Software based modems, even some internal hdwre-based modems. Not Call Soft! Would like to see multiple line and mult. extension options like a Voice Mail system but reliability and operational ease is most important and CallSoft is!

Not bad...not great. Easy to use interface. The speech synthesis could use some work. Nearly impossible to understand. Also, if you're using Win2k or WinXP fax program, it seems to block Call Soft's ability to answer. If they get the speech sounding better, it may not be a bad little program.
