Call Trace is a TAPI compliant caller ID application. It displays a popup window, announces the caller's number, tracks missed calls, and can auto-export to HTML for remote viewing of calls via a Web server. The phone book associates numbers with user-defined names, and defines custom actions based on callers.
- Caller ID improvements: Support for 'DDN' caller ID format used by some Canadian telcos
- Caller ID improvements: Caller number no longer shows up as UNAVAILABLE or OUT OF AREA in some cases where caller ID is sent twice, replacing the first valid number
- Caller ID improvements: Invalid characters automatically removed from caller number
- Bug Fixes: Phone book entries without location no longer display trailing dash
- Bug Fixes: Call Log NAME column correctly sorted when phone book names used
- Bug Fixes: Printing call log now formats names and numbers correctly
Reviewing 1.0 Beta 5 (Dec 18, 2005)
Set up and runs well. No adware/spyware detected. My phone's display is breaking down so this program is useful. When a call is received, program pops up an alert and displays info but this is a problem if I am running certain programs. Forces me to reopen at least one program. Still in beta since 1999?
Reviewing 1.0 Beta 3a (Jul 28, 2001)
Cool idea, but would be better if this was a voice mail app. I can't use this in conjunction with my existing voice mail app.
