I can't believe he still makes this thing. Or does he? I've always used CPU-Z, which is better in every way.

Like others have said, CPU-Z is much better, and free as well. Don't bother with this thing.

I just tried this for the first time yesterday. Not only does it look terrible, it crashed. Thinking it had to be a fluke (the crash, not the ugliness), I tried it on my other PC. Same result. Garbage.

There's no point for this software to exist when you can download the vastly superior CPU-Z application for free.

Rating a 3 for optimistic future.

Currently, this software doesn't support my Phenom 9850BE...can't change *any* settings whatsoever, or any settings that aren't blacked-out don't 'stick'.

Also, since I have Cool n Quiet running on my computer - CPid erroneously shows my overclock as ~800MHz less than actual, and doesn't show the correct values for Core0-3 and their respective voltages - for both when it's at full load (and thus FULL MHz/Voltage) as well as idle (low FID/VID and lower MHz)

GUI is nice with tabs at the bottom and I like black ;)

This program has some potential if some of these things could be addressed...currently, there are no software applications that will help with overclocking/tweaking/fine-tuning aside from the AMD Overclock Utility - which crashes my system anyway. I hope this one can do what it needs to in the near future!

Nothing but crashes most of the time, and poorly arranged the rest of the time.

LOL! Kid, you even know that CBID supports unofficial 100MHz, 300MHz and 500MHz HTL transitions! Your bad you forget to remind people that CBId can also change an HT multiplier which cannot be changed by your favorite Z-toy. All that features are really implement in CBId and work very well. Please don’t post here again your bull s*** about DMI. One clown has already posted, don’t be the second. CBId has never shown any info on the motherboard. You are too young to know how to determinate the information about the hardware. Now go to home and say hello to your mammy.

Can’t detect the HyperTransport link frequency at 100MHz, 300MHz, 500MHz. Can’t change HT, FID and VID multiplier. Can’t change a memory clock ratio, can’t change DRAM timings, doesn’t reads a current CPU temperature, doesn’t support AMD Family 10h processors at all. Shows only poor common information on the CPU and the motherboard (using the oldest DMI interface).

P.S. No, thanks! We do not practice yoga. Try yoga yourself!
