Collectorz.com Movie Collector is a movie database to catalog your collection of DVDs, DivX files, VHS tapes, etc. Adding movies to the database is quick and easy - no typing needed. Just type the movie title and it will automatically download all information from various sources on the Internet (IMDb and DVD Empire), including the cover image. After adding your movies, the resulting database can be browsed, sorted and searched in various ways. Movie lists can be printed and exported to HTML, CSV files or XML. Use the integrated Loan Manager to track which movies you loaned and to whom.

New version 5 is out, with some limited new features that apparently justifies it being a major update. (Box Set support... barely, and support for episodes of tv shows, also just barely).
Unfortunately the company has also suddenly decided to make customers pay for major upgrades.
That said, Movie Collector is a good application, but I'm one of several users disappointed by the lackluster latest version and their changed upgrade policy. I recommend you to use the trial and see if for instance lack of multi-disc support and box set details is of importance for you. If not, you'll be quite happy with Movie Collector!

i finally gave up jumping from trial version to trial version. i love this program so much that i bought it last week.
it was worth every penny

Great piece of software here! I tried dvdprofiler, and the feature set of this just blows it out of the water. I love the fact that it can download its info from multiple different websites (not that a central DB is not a good approach, I just prefer this)

Great program here, the new "Split list on export" feature in this build is awesome and the index out of bounds error is gone. Good job Collectorz!
