I like the interface, but had to uninstall it from my XP Pro SP3 laptop as I kept getting BSODs (0x7F) when doing file transfers (copy or move). Am still searching the web for a fix to this problem as I would love to continue using this app.

defense+ is a must to protect your system against unknown malwares. your AV isnt able to detect all new malwares. so defense+ alerts u about all activities a file is trying to do before it can access the memory. and those alerts are able to show that u're facing a malware so u can block it before it can access your system. http://www.kaspersky.com...fset=-2&x=0&y=0 when i found this trojan with defense+, it was detected by 4 AV on 32. i sent it to kaspersky so they updated their list but actually not all AV are able to detect it. my last test showed that 13 av on 32 were able to detect it so be carefull and use defense+ to help your av when it fails to detect new malwares.

Excellent - especially at the price! Haven't been using a 3rd party firewall for a while as I had read (quite a while ago now) that Vista's firewall wasn't too bad when configured correctly. After doing a few tests it seems it's not all that good at all so went looking for another solution. I'm using the 64bit version which can be downloaded from http://www.personalfirew.../download_firewall.html

Reeeejected by my neighbor's Dell laptop. Vista said it wasn't compatible.
