DLL Register is a front-end for regsvr32 which lets you register dynamic-link libraries and ActiveX controls in the registry with ease.

It does what it's supposed to do. As I have DOT.NET 2.0 I have not given this a try but if someone would like to try it, you can get a lite version of DOT.NET 2.0 from Nuhi's site http://www.nliteos.com/download.html (Framework Lite 2.0 R3 | 6.9 MB). This might be woth a try if the 22 MB size of DOT.NET 2.0 is your only problem.

I concur that having to install NET framework makes this utility useless - at least to me. Some of us are disk space bound. Please consider that.

A lot of people are confused/intimidated by command-line functions, of course, and would prefer to have a front-end.
I have doubts though, whether any user experienced enough to know that it's sometimes useful/necessary to register/unregister DLL's will find this very useful.
The size of this thing is also deceptive, since this tiny tool requires the decidedly not-tiny .NET framework 2.0, and the author apparently bans any complaints about that from his/her forum.
All-in-all, it just seems a bit pointless to me, but at least the author isn't brazen enough to charge for it.

I prefer to make my own "Register" and "Unregister" right click entries for OCX and DLL files. That in itself seems much more convenient than this tool.
