DVD2SVCD is a completely automated frontend for converting DVD, PVA and AVI files to SVCD. By completely automated, I mean, you just select the file or dvd you want converted and hit GO, everything else is taken care of by the frontend.

Build 3 doesn't work for me; rolled back to build 1, everything seems to be working as it should now. Anyone else having problems with build 3?

A great shell app to combine what's needed to create quality video. Useful & flexible, and always updated.

This program is great,I have been using it for just over 2 months now.It takes the hard work out of ripping & encoding files. You can use CCE or TMPGEnc to encode and although the process can take a while, the result is great.TMPGEnc has a free version, with MPEG encoding trial of 30 days.(I have bought the full version now)CCE is available as a demo but you have a logo imprinted on your copy playback. I have had no problems so far, will post if any occur..Highly recommended...

This program is really great. The only drawback is the additional downloads mentioned earlier, but who cares, when the program gives you that great control of whatever stage your DVD-ripping are at..
MindAlpha : The shell-commands used to trigger the different programs needed to do the different stages of the ripping are all presented in the log window. If the "file allready exists"-thingy pops up, check to se if it does, remove it, and run the command from your commandprompt! Worked great for me!

I really believed that one click was all that was needed. Ok, maybe two clicks, but I was dissapointed to find out that additional downloads were required. After 12 hours or ripping, on the last stage where it was to save the final ripped file, it said file already exists!!! and quit! I guess this is a rare occurance, as people have managed to get it working unlike myself (very novice!). Sure to be a big hit once all the bugs are ironed out.
