Publisher's Description
Desert Combat is a modern day military modification to the popular war game BattleField1942 from EA. It is focused on conflicts in the middle-east within the last decade between the various nations, From Desert Storm to Somalia. This war game is a total conversion for Battlefield1942 and is based on the same principles of a FPS and arcade style vehicle sim. It will be focused around multiplayer online gameplay and is expected to be free to the public.

This is DCF (DesertCombat final), the name should be changed to desertcombat final (or final v. 3.0)... On with my review... Which is pretty much the same as my review 2 posts down from last year, again they made it feel like a whole new game--This time with even more changes than ever before. If you own BF1942 then this is a must have!

Great mod that gets better every time! New heli's are awsome! There is some lag issues to some of the new maps tho under heavy loads.

The sea rigs map is by far the best map I have ever seen, I didnt even know that was possible, it feels like a whole new game. The new carrier is 10x better then the old bf carrier, and not frustrating to get above deck. The older DC maps run smoother then ever, again it feels like a whole new game. The only bad thing is urban siege gets very choppy with alot of people, and the mod it self has more bugs then usual. But all-in-all it's still the best mod for BF1942, and the bugs should be fixed in the next release.

After playing some days i discivered alot of flaws, especialy transparent surfaces, not only small details, but entire mountains including surfaces I move around on :(

OMG this release is packed with awesome new stuff this is a must have for any battlefield fan! Its like playing a whole different game for free! thanks DC team!

Desert Combat is by far the best created, most updated, best looking, feature filled, most stable, and most versitile mod for BF 1942 with by far the largest fan base. This file is a must download for any Battlefield fan. And the new one is top knotch. Good job DC team and keep up the badass work!

they improved alot on scaling in my opinio (tanks aren't 20x the size of a soldier,...) like this mod alot... can't forget 'bout Eve Of Destruction tough... :)
