DesktopZoom is a zoom/magnify program with lots of options: zoom around the mouse, zoom a fixed window, zoom the entire desktop, use the mouse inside the zoomed window, etc.
Reviewing 3.2 (Feb 9, 2009)
I previously reviewed v1.3 (gave it 5 stars) and this is v3.2 (which Im gonna give 2 stars)
Very disappointing progress with the UI (user interface) virtually no change at all.
Improve the look and function of the UI and I will give it 5 stars.
Reviewing 2.0 (Aug 30, 2007)
Not bad but not there yet. Does not work with applications and follow the cursor (I can be typing in OpenOffice and it will remain blissfully unaware and not follow my cursor) and can't invert colors globally regardless of which method I use. Fix those two things and it will be a perfect replacement for Microsoft Magnifier. Until then...
Reviewing 1.3 (Apr 5, 2006)
Just what Ive been looking for :-)
Now I can keep the same desktop resolution for when Im at my desk or sitting on my sofa (1.5 meters away) - and just use DesktopZoom
Maybe(?) the GUI (settings) could do with a bit of a polish
Reviewing 1.3 (Mar 6, 2006)
Nice program which provides desktop zoomin in a way at least I haven't seen before, it's free too so not much to complain about. Wellbehaved too, won't add a zillion entries to the registry or similar, recommended!
