Microsoft did not release DirectX 10 for Windows XP because of the complexies involved. Here you have the first steps towards what Microsoft cannot do. You do not need Vista anymore to run DirectX 10 software.

Exactly. Strong arming poor gamers into a forceful pocket-rape type situation just so they can have DX10. Micropen1s, pure business no morals, as always. Everyone's a number, a statistic, a potential lump of cash.

Unfortunately, I don't think they'll ever get DX10 working "perfect" under XP though. But if it's even close, I think there's gonna be an A$$ LOAD of happy campers out there.

Worse comes to worst, crack Vista, use it, teach others how to teach others to do it too. Thing is, Vista is quite SH*TTY right now so no one even really wants to use it cracked! rofl! Nice goin' there Microc0cks! Maybe after SP1 it will be even worth using cracked. :\

Anyway WAY TO GO FALLING LEAF. KEEP UP THIS EFFORT I support you fully! :)

Er, no, Microsoft did not release DirectX 10 for Windows XP because they want to force people to upgrade. There's NO other reason whatsoever. Period.

I'm not gonna download this yet. But I do hope that someday, DX10 will be brought to XP. So I'm giving this a 5 for starting a revolution.

not exactly useable.. but they deserve an absolute 5 star for trying and lets hope they succeed..

Windows Vista is absolutely NOT tempting in any way fashion or form.. I'd rather get a mac or even go.. shrug.. linux..than installing Windows Fista. Windows Fista, how deep do you want to go today? should be their new slogal........(for those who dont get it, go look up fisting on google)....
