Disk Washer will help you maintain your system functioning at its peak performance by removing unnecessary files from your computer, such as installation programs left-over, resolving DLLs problems, resolving system registry errors, and any other things that can make your system slower and instable.

Such files may include those created by internet activity, installation programs or by applications for storing temporary data. After time these files build up, wasting disk space and this can impede disk drive performance, lead to superfluous disk fragmentation, and even cause some applications to function improperly. Deleting these files is usually safe and can recover megabytes of disk space.

    Why buy this when there is CCleaner? If you were to buy one, get Webroot's Window Washer. It has proven performance and washes slack space.

    Far too expensive. As mentioned, the need to recover disc space is far less pressing nowadays when camera phones carry far more space than the HD of my first PC did. There are other (freeware and cheaper shareware) programs to clean up the registry, etc. Mostly they do a better job.

    finally! a program that can recover MEGABYTES of my 800gb system! and I bet it's the MEGABYTES i need the most - the first two and the last 3 i named Peter, John, Suzie, Walker and Joshua.

    $23 is ridiculous for this program, espcially when it does so little. CCleaner is completely free and not only cleans what this program does but also a LOT of other programs like Firefox, Opera, Office, Adobe Reader, Photoshop, etc. Way too many to list here. Sorry but for the features and value this only gets a 1.
