Divx Player is a simple player that can find and install the correct codec if you don't have it on your machine and play Divx files. It is simple to use and easy to install. It allows you to open and play an avi video file within three click.

    I can't think of any reason to install this. There's far, far better and more versatile players such as:
    GOMPlayer, VLC

    Not to mention installing codecs like ffdshow and AC3filter allow other Media players (including Window Media Player) to run AVI and more.

    If this is intended to turn into something more then wait until it's more mature but I doubt it'll ever compete with great free programs like VLC.

    and AVI ONLY player? by this times, this is just crap.
