Dope Wars is a very simple and addictive game. The goal is simple: you start with $2,000 and a $5,500 debt, and you have 31 days to earn money dealing dope. (Note: Dope Wars is a game. We DO NOT support dealing, using or doing anything in Real Life™ with drugs.) During these 31 days, you will sometimes meet cops, buy guns, encounter small troubles, sell dope at extremely high prices and earn millions.
What is extremely cool about this game is that you can then enter your high scores on the dedicated Dopewars Web site. On this Web site, your next browser starting page I bet, you can then compete with friends, with the whole world and even join or create a Cartel.

It's a decent game, but success or failure is based on how lucky you are with early game prices and events.
From there, the game becomes very simplistic with the best weapon being very inexpensive relative to the money you earn and far too powerful.
My friend who introduced me to this game -- a high school dropout with no sense for numbers -- can get 450,000 in 120 day mode and I can get over 750K.
Furthermore, it's no longer supported in any way by the developer and you seem to have to acquire a serial number illegally to "buy" the game nowadays.

Dope Wars 2.2 is ad-supported software. It is part of the Gator Advertising and Information Network (GAIN), which helps keep software free by delivering messages based on the sites you view. - Shriek Ahhhhhhhhhhggggggggg Not the Gator!
