GSman you are so retarded man! What's wrong with you all ownload managers now have Zip Preview, and not only you can see through the zip file before downloading it but also chose which file you want to download in the zip file. And you said "you can see the real file size before downloading it" man WTF? Even the IE download tool lets you see that... Geez

I've used Mage since it first hit the net[2000 or so].
Back then it was quite advanced, how many tools let you look inside .zips and download what you want from them?
Side by side filename change is great also, too many others to list including an FTP explorer, caster[for multiple query].....plus you CAN SEE THE REAL SIZE OF THE FILE BEFORE STARTING!.....A concept most others don't incorporate!
Gotta love it, still the best!
And to Blackhole8746, you are wrong, probably love Vista and don't mind bloated crapware....Later!

Small, tiny memory demand, captures most downloads easily, unobtrusive - obviously handles restore, multiple downloads etc perfectly. Perhaps the least promoted but certainly the best out there - I have used it for years. I have tried all the others but it doesn't take long to go back to this one. No changes for years but probably not many imptovements needed. (I foind the download caster great for multiple downloads off one page)

Well, I have used so far many DL managers -Getright, NetAntz, Gozilla!, FlashGet and others, but DL-Mage has some nice features. The Listview without having as many open windows as donwloads is smart and it is more or less reliable. It only lacks off some features (handling of mirrors for files -> in Getright i.e. you can add another mirror for the file by clicking on another URL). Even more I would like a option to export my DL-lists... So I give it only a 4 out of 5 points.

dlmage is good, fast and have some new and interesting features.but i think it needs some modifications to become better and it has the potential to become the best:
dlmage has 3 main components that can come together to make a full and better user interface
1-Adding dialog view to the main interface under the toolbar,on the right side of tree pane.then
under dialog view comes the name of downloading files and related information.
2-Adding a HISTORY of downloaded files under the tree pane(its empty now).
    3-Adding 'monitor clicks with Ctrl+Alt'.
4-download caster is not a useful device.
