   One day i logged in my Asus laptop and got no sound. I only noticed it when someone was calling me on Skype and I saw the Skype window pop up with no sound from my speakers. I checked and re-checked both Skype and my volume settings but NOTHING worked. A techie friend on Facebook mentioned DriverFinder and so I tried it out of desperation. I downloaded the recommended audio driver and VOILA! got my sound back. Thanks guys (especially Tony of their Customer Support for helping me install the audio driver properly on my laptop).

   $30 for a small utility with multiple free alternatives? I think not.
