Since the disastrous release of version 5.0, Roxio has lost more than half his customers. They moved to the always reliable Nero.

Freeware!? (rolls eyes) It's not freeware, it is yet another patch to a program that should be pulled from the market and put to rest. When the patch is bigger than the competitions entire program it is time to put it down. Take a look at the software bundles on the top cd burners being sold today they include Nero.

outlook express is made by Micro$oft - Tux0Racer said "you can only use Microsoft products (e.g. MSN Explorer, Outlook, etc...) to read hotmail e-mail" he was trying to make the point that there isn't any non-m$ software that reads hotmail

this program is real flaky. on three seperate computers and 3 different burners (one older and 2 newer) the program randomly hung and made coasters. I started to use Nero Burning and it is much more stable, i have not made a coaster yet. Do not confuse this product with EZ CD Extractor which is a good program and not made by Roxio

I'm pretty sure that you can read your Hotmail mail using Outlook Express. I know you used to be able to anyway.

Ever since it became Roxio the programm is overbugged. All my friends and I stopped using it in favor of Nero and CD Mate. Even pirates have their backs turned on this megabug.

Great program *NEVER* had a single problem with it. It's the only program I use, because it does everything very good, and I use DirectCD all the time for UDF file system. Yes I have used Nero, i dont like it.

To all users that complaing about this app not burning any CD at all:
You can't have Easy CD Creator and ie Nero installed at the same time. You will not be able to burn in one program or the other.
I've successfully used this app for many years. So it works fine.
I also agree that Nero is a good program if not better.

Why am I not surprised. Can't burn a cd with this thing. Crashes my comp totally. I'll just stick with Neo.

I actually downloaded and installed ths program on one of my Windows XP Pro machines and it was just as bad as 99% of all Roxio Products. Roxio read this and they tattoo ii onto your hand "DONT ADD FEATURES, SORT OUT STABILITY AND COMPATIBILITY". There is no point AT ALL making a program if it does not run. It is great to offer features other programs don't but i cant use half of them because the program crashes!! I would give it 1 star but i have used worse programs, i wouldnt download this unless you have a spare computer to destroy
