Enigma Browser incorporates a large collection of powerful features like built-in popup killer, skinned window frame, form filler, site group, quick-search, auto login, hidden sites, built-in commands and scripting, online translation, script error suppression, blacklist / whitelist filtering, URL Alias and much more. It brings you convenient and comfortable browsing.
Reviewing 3.8.8 (Oct 10, 2004)
If you use a proxy, all this "pop-up killer" nonsense is totally unnecessary. I don't get pop-ups, banner ads, flash adds and I don't show up on counters. There are a lot of decent web proxies around, and some of them are easy to setup and use. Get one.
Reviewing 3.6.0 (Dec 1, 2000)
i didn't like it. all it is, as someone said before, is a dumbed down interface on internet explorer. some of you seem to be under the impression that it actually renders pages faster. all it does is use IE controls, so the only speed advantage it could have is the released resource space. that isn't enough to make it "three times faster" unless you're on a very, very fast ocnnection. a mediocre program.
Reviewing 3.3.0 (Oct 23, 2000)
oh no, not again. go away mistar crash1, i'm having nightmares already and i can't stop them!
Reviewing 3.1.0 (Oct 15, 2000)
Folks! Enigma is now up to 3.1.0 with 3.2.0 coming soon! Version 3.1.0 handles all popups and links that open successive windows, through Enigma, IF you want to allow popups etc. to begin with (has a feature to disallow those irritating ads).
Must say it's even faster now, and runs without IE being installed!
Reviewing 3.0 (Oct 13, 2000)
Thatz funny!! When it can't find a website guess what it sayz. "Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable." Doesn't use internet Explorer.. ha
