Epsilon is the oldest known EMACS-like professional editor, first released on August - 1984. Epsilon has a command set and general philosophy similar to the EMACS-style editors used on many different kinds of computers.

    I remember Epsilon from my university days...
    $250 for a license seems ridiculous for an editor with an outdated UI and features matched by many other editors (both free and shareware).

    If you want/need Emacs, there are Windows ports available, for free.
