EraseTemp automatically deletes old temporary files from your computer. Perfect to run when you start your computer.
- Minor adjustment to better support different text sizes
Reviewing 3.4.3.1 (Sep 22, 2009)
The pluses:
Does what it says
The minuses:
Not a point and click setup for customising paths
Relies on .Net framework, yes most people will have it installed, but its still a bit piece of kludge as a framework.
I have a tool i wrote myself in autoIt that does the same thing and is barely 250Kb, doesnt rely on MS's bloatware to run....
Considering that the author went to all the trouble of using MS bloatware, you think he could have spent some time making adding custom paths a point and click job....seems insane not to have done this....
Reviewing 3.3.1.17 (Dec 19, 2007)
Great program!
The good: Small. Fast. No install. 1 File Wonder. Works on bootup, keeping temp folders spotlessly clean. No hunting for a crack or keygen because the author supplies them on the web page. Deletes only 3 day old TEMP files to prevent failed program installs requiring re-boot.
The Bad: The program has 3 serious shortcomings: command line, command Line, and command line. It takes too long, is too tedious, and maybe even a bit dangerous to configure all the command line arguments. Why not just have a few check boxes for the mentally lame and lazy(like me!)?
In spite of the 3 serious shortcomings, it still rates a solid 5.

haven't deleted something yet that caused a prob unlike other progs I have used
Reviewing 3.2.2.0 (Jan 27, 2005)
Excellent! The author even provides a crack for it! Only *small* problem is the command must be used to clean other folders besides the default TEMP folders. I can handle that, but many computer users may by put off by it.

can't get any better
