Evidence Eliminator employs the exact same sector analysis technology as available in ultra-high-priced tools available to law-enforcement agencies, for example the FBI. After identifying and analyzing the unwanted data hidden in your drives, Evidence Eliminator destroys it with proven methods of secure disposal similar to US Department of Defense standards for destruction of classified material.
Reviewing 5.053 (Sep 25, 2007)
Ummm, I have to agree with the other two reviews. I have been using EE for close to seven years now. It has never failed me. When I first started using it I was at least smart enough to check to see what EE was doing or not doing. Did you look under the hood to see what's in there? Did you change settings? Did you uses Quick or Test Mode? Quick Mode should do an adequate job of covering your tracks, but Safe Shutdown or Restart are the only way to be absolutely sure. Keep checking your cookies and temporary internet files to see what is going on there. Sometimes changing the hidden files option in Folder options helps and sometimes its better to leave them be. I've used it on two computers with two different OS's and you have to play with it till it works. Do some reading, get familiar with it and it will never fail you either.

My girlfriend came home and she found out I have been visiting a couple of x-rated sites. Now the relationship is under a lot a pressure. I ran Evidence 5.057 first. So I'm sorry but this one SUCKS! big time although it looks nice it doesn't do what it's supposed to do I HATE YOU GUYS!!!! I DO.
Reviewing 5.053 (Oct 10, 2006)
At first I was going to rate it a '1' because of the scumbag company that produced it, but, I hate to say, the program is actually great. It hasn't had an update for more than 2 years and yet it still beats, in comparison, other leading 'junk removal' software.
So 5 for the software,
0 for the company.
P.S. the actual version is 5.058 but you must first have this version to install it.
