The best lyrics software available, IMHO, and I've tried many. If you use Winamp, this can integrate with the Winamp visualization, Milkdrop, and you can have synchronized lyrics with awesome visualizations for just about every song you play. Excellent.

Can't get it to work with Foobar. The guide to getting this to work with Foobar hasn't been updated since 2004. It'd be a great program if I could get it to work with foobar.

Its ok just as a simple program to look up lyrics without needing a browser though.

    we need better things:
    1. Nicer GUI, so we can customize the looking of the lirics, not only in plain text.
    2. Ad options so we can download the lyrics for offline use. so we can reduce the internet needed. in many countries dialup still expensive. so better if we can have offline data, and connect when needed only for update

Great app, a bit ugly for my liking, but it does what the author claims even if a bit hard to get working with media player.

Being a big winamp user and preferring winamp over other players

I have to be unbiased about this app, but I still prefer Leo's Lyrics Winamp Plugin which is also free. Though Evil Lyrics comes with tons of features, I just like the looks/simplicity of Leo's Lyrics.

To the Author: Keep up the good work however! And will check out future versions ...

even DL from their site didnt resolve the problem

still the app is great, the problem above is minor

LOVE IT, can't give it a 5 though because of the following:
    1. not very intuitive to get it to work with windows media player (see their website on how to do it though)
    2. karaoke thing was off a little bit. (not too important to me though)
    3. graphically it looks dull

But it does what it says and works great.

very easy to use and create your own karaoke style lyric files for... however i hate that its a standalone executable...

i use winlyrics because it integrates perfectly into winamp with skins and all... if not i would definitely use this!

    Reviewing 0.1.8 RC1 (May 23, 2005)

It might be a great program however, the lyrics it picks up need to be rated so others don't waste their time. The Lyric arrives in EvilLyrics, or so you think, but all you get are messages from others or a list of album titles, etc. Add a rating system and you would improve things greatly.

By the way EvilLyrics is a silly name for a useful program. How about Lyric Library or Song Sheet. Perhaps not but a new name IS needed.

    Regards

Winlyrics?? Winlyrics cant even hold a candle against Evillyrics. It searches 40x more lyrics than winlyrics, more language package, more versatility, supports more media player, and the best of all, its completely free. Who's in their right mind will pay 15 bucks for a lyric viewer like winlyrics, a plugin in fact.

first and only lyrics finder i could find that actually works, and the fact that it hooks up with itunes makes it even better.

the best feature of this program (besides the obvious) is that it is there in the tray when i want to see lyrics but otherwise it gets out of the way and isn't annoying at all. the memory footprint is small, its not in your face, and it works.
