Fast Destination Finder indexes your local/network hard drives' directories and gives you the ability to find any directory in a split second. FDF requires MDAC, so if you haven't already installed it, you will need it.

Reviewing 1.0.8 Beta (May 1, 2003)
Overall great program. Three main issues I have with it: 1. I can't maximize the results page (too small) and cannot display results on separate designated window. 2. Cannot minimize to tray. 3. Cannot easily set the program to refresh the database at a set time (say 5am daily when I know I'll be asleep). Well I have another issue: I cannot search for a few things at once like I can with regular Windows find: "searchthis andthis andthat andalso*.avi *.mpg". Hopefully in a couple of versions ;-)

I use it quite often, especially when I'm in a hurry. Very recommended.

Great Product.
Scan your local and network once. then Receive instant access to all your folders. I find it much faster than the original files\folders find on the windows system. helping to find lost directories.
I recommend it highly for use especially where a large network is placed.
