fauxcryption.
Locked up tight, until somebody requestes the password from the authors. Seems to defeat the purpose.
Additionally, it's an obvious filecrypt file. No chance for it to hide- even the icon changes to include a big logo. Think "Here I am!" My current tool can have any extension I choose, and uses the icon associated to that extension.
One choice for algorithym. It's nice enough, AES 256. Would be nicer to have several formats to choose from.
Nice enough I suppose. If you want your security procedures to include keeping a key under the mat.

seems ok...but truecrypt has an option to put its executables on your flash drive, so you can use it anywhere....AND it has a linux version.

I haven't even tried this program, but have no desire to after reading on their own website they apparently have a back door to it. Any true encryption program doesn't have that ability, and it shouldn't.
"which guarantees that nobody but us (FSPro Labs FlashCrypt team) will be able to recover the password."

I like several things about it:
1) ability to encrypt directories in a compressed and unidentifiable way...no single files hanging around, no mystery directories, no mounting/dismounting. End product files are like quicker RAR passworded files.
2) couldn't be an easier shell menu extension to use
I know this comes at the expense of the extreme security available with TrueCrypt, but the ease of use is great. Depends on what you need to hide! :)
