Free File Wiper will delete files securely. Just drag & drop directories and files on the trashcan and the software will erase them completely. The files will be overwritten with standard and random patterns. After the wipe, the files cannot be undeleted and restored.
- Added error handling on startup
- Some minor fix

After approximately 10 minutes it was using about 44,000K of memory ... seems a bit steep for what it does. If all my running programs used 10 times as much memory as they should my computer would come to near a dead crawl. Doubt I'll be using it on a regular basis because I have better use for the memory. I have other programs that use less memory and perform multi-pass random character write and deletion of files I need to delete at my request.

nice free ap. Would be nicer if I could make the icon smaller and/or relocate it to a different area/corner of the screen as easily as possible in case one of my programs use the area where it usually sets up the "trash can". Maybe a future version will have a menu to wipe a file when file right-clicked.
