Frigate is a powerful application for managing your files. It was design for comfortable daily use and complex flexibility. It is a replacement for standard Explorer program from Windows. In addition to standard traits of file managers, it can view Graphics and HTML, syntax highlighting, Ciphering files, Plugins, sheduler, etc.
- Newly created files are highlighted now
- The work with Copy Queue has been improved
- The work with Registry has been improved
- The bugs in text editor, MD5 calculation, FTP have been fixed

It is worst file manager I ever tested. Very unstable. Total Commander + hundreds of plugins is much much much better

Contrary to the reviews below my experience is positive. To be honest - I am and user of Frigate 3.28 Lite (for free). I have gave a try to Frigate Professional for two days. Both are very versatile. Pity that FT does not support open source files.

Freeware? It's a 60 days evaluation :-(((
It's a nice and usefull program but why is it so slow on my PIII 650 running Windows2000?
In addition, it crashes often :-((
Remove some the crashes and make it faster and it will be good :-)

I am using version 2.7 under NT 4.0 I have noticed this several times. Cool desk will hang, if there is another app in the current pager window that is also hanging. After the hanging app is closed, cooldesk will continue running.
